This quiz draws on terminology introduced in “Imagery, Metaphor, Simile," so it would be best to read that overview of the major poetic devices first.

To answer the questions, draw examples from a different Section 1 story for each of the 3 sets of questions (one on Imagery, a second on Metaphor and Symbolism, and a third on Simile), excluding 1 story of your choice.
