Below is composition of Student Teams on a Michigan Green Company (B-Corp) for (MGMT 202: Business Communication: CRN 50262): (10 min. maximum per team of 5 max. students):

Here's the Five-part Green America "Green Business Certification" criteria you will be dividing up equally among all team members to research and present. Please also have one team member present the introduction and another team member present the call to action in the conclusion (please see module 4 for the Team Presentation on a Michigan-Based Green Company):

1. Actively using their business as a tool for positive social change.

2. Operating a "values-driven" enterprise according to principles of social justice AND environmental sustainability.

3. Environmentally responsible in the way they source, manufacture, and market their products and run their operations and facilities.

4. Socially equitable and committed to extraordinary practices that benefit workers, customers, communities, and the environment.

5. Accountable for their work by continually improving and tracking their progress and operating with transparency in every facet of their business.

Deliverables:

1) Zoom recording URL from 10-min (maximum length of team presentation) Team Presentation of Michigan-Based Green Company presentation - All team members are required to present and then upload the zoom recording url of the team's presentation by the due date and lock time.

2) Microsoft PowerPoint file upload of 10 PowerPoint slides (maximum) by each team member by the due date and lock time via module 4.

All team members' first and last names are required to appear on the title slide #1 one along with the content they will be presenting in the presentation. Please also include the name of your Michigan-Based Green company on the title slide.

Slides 2-10 need to present no more than 4 bullets (maximum) on research on how the Michigan Based Green Company adheres to the Green America Green Business Certification criteria (see below for 5-part criteria and also module 4 for more assignment details and video recording explanations).

If your team cites a website or reference material in one of the 4 bullet points, you are required to use APA 7th edition citation format (please see module 4 for American Psychological Formatting Guidelines) in the bottom left-hand text box of every slide to give credit for that information.

In the bottom right-hand corner text box of every slide, please identify by first and last name which teammate researched and presented the slide (please see module 4 for the sample 10 Team Presentation PowerPoint slides for a template).

Please email Dr. Barley 1 week prior to the final team presentation due date/lock time with your team's private zoom conference time and day where your team will be recording your 10-minute Team Presentation on a Michigan-Based B-Corp/Green Company, the name of the Michigan-Based B-corporation or Green Company, the first and last names of all your team members, and the name of your Michigan-Based Green Company you will be evaluating based the 5-part Green America criteria.
